Neil has more than 30 years' experience in the world of finance, having spent 4 years in banking before moving into financial planning. He joined the firm in 1993 and became a Partner in 1997.

Professional Qualifications

Neil is a Chartered Financial Planner and Associate of the Personal Finance Society (PFS). 

These CFP and APFS qualifications, awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), result from successfully passing the following examinations:-

SV1 – Savings and Investments G10 – Taxation and Trusts
G20 – Personal Investment Planning G60 – Pensions
G70 – Portfolio Investment Management K10 – Retirement Options
K20 – Pension Investment Options CF8 – Long Term Care Insurance
J02 – Trusts AF5 – Financial Planning Process
ER1 – Equity Release  

Neil is a full member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) and in July 2010 became the first adviser in Kent to be awarded the Later Life Adviser Accreditation. SOLLA Members are required to reaccredit every 5 years, in 2020 Neil was one of 21 advisers that achieved their 3rd reaccreditation – a fantastic feat that shows real commitment to older and vulnerable clients.

Neil is an Affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having passed the STEP Certificate for Financial Services (Trusts & Estate Planning) in December 2011.
