Kathryn Feck joined The Goodman Partnership in 2015 when it expanded its client services team and her role involves assisting the firm’s advisers.
“I am a point of contact for our clients, while I’m also responsible for general admin including processing applications, fund switching and withdrawals etc,” Kathryn explains. “I really enjoy dealing with our clients and helping them with any queries they might have. If I can assist them and there’s a positive ending, then that’s great.”
Kathryn joined The Goodman Partnership from another IFA, where she was a client manager.
“I must admit that I didn’t know anything about The Goodman Partnership when I joined,” says Kathryn. “However, I’ve seen over the years what a great reputation the firm has. I think one of the things which sets it apart is its expertise in care fees advice and the fact we’ve got two full SOLLA members here.”
Kathryn says that working in finance was something which attracted her from an early age. She enjoyed maths growing up and her father was a financial adviser and established a mortgage advice company. It was a career which ran in the family and Kathryn’s first role was working in the same firm in Beckenham where her sister-in-law was also based.
When not at work, Kathryn fills her time with sport, travel and family. Kathryn regularly participates in golf competitions and enjoys being in her club team.
She got married last year amidst the beast from the east and her husband is a sports picture editor on a national newspaper – so playing and watching sport is something they love doing together.
Kathryn also loves travelling and arranging long weekends away. She and her husband went to Thailand, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Dublin, Scotland and Disneyland Paris last year and she’s busy sorting out their next trip away. In addition, she loves family get-togethers and spending time with her nephews and nieces.
